Build a custom order management software

We are looking for .Net professionals for this project and please find the job Description here - [login to view URL] The Project is to enhance/build the already existing "custom order management software" that was build 15 years ago and has undergone regular improvements. Current Systems The software is a transactional system for all orders , shipments , invoices and payments as well as several other core functions like shop-floor tracking and purchasing. It was build on VB6 front-end form that sits on top of a SQL database. The DB was recently moved into Azure. The reporting environment is primarily Crystal reports for internal transactional reports. A third-party document formatting system is used to generate customer-facing documents like invoices. We are in the process of implementing Microsoft PowerBI for reporting and analytics. We expect of these elements to continue to be used through Phase 1 of the new system. Goals The Project is a technology modernization project to reduce the risk of their platforms and improve the ability to capitalize on advancements in core technology over the past 10 years. In the coming years, we would like to migrate the entire system to a new, modern application framework while supplementing it with new functionality that will add value to the business. Quoting is very similar to ordering and is seen as a good way to build a robust foundation for the future-state system. The forms and rules that will be developed for the quoting system will largely apply to orders as well, and this will fill a functional void in the landscape. Phase 1 will be used to build core pieces of system functionality like security, new data structures, and screen layouts. The core functionality of Phase 1 will focus on quoting transactions and related functionality like product configuration, follow-up tracking, and basic sales stage tracking. At the end of Phase 1, the project will have a single system that all sales reps can use to create quotes configure and price products, send quotes to customers, and track all follow-up sales activity for those quotes. The system will also act as the intermediary for sending quotes and automate some basic sales activities. Phase 2 and beyond will migrate modules from the existing system to the new platform, generally based on their interaction with the quoting forms that are designed in Phase 1.
