Project: create logo for organization called Atlantic Point I need a logo for an organization called Atlantic Point. It should be usable on a white background and fit into the space indicated by the red arrow in the screen shot posted at [login to view URL] When used on a Web site dimension would be roughly 400 by 120 pixels. Concept • The logo should tie into the phrase “Atlantic Point” by including elements that look like a cliff and an ocean. • It should also include the image of person strapped to an old-fashioned glider, to convey the ideas of being adventurous, taking off, being creative, and risk-taking. An example of the glider style is shown at [login to view URL] • The idea is to use the image of a person with a glider ready to launch himself off a cliff ("point") overlooking the Atlantic. Thus Atlantic Point. • The image should be stylized, kind of like a pencil drawing, suitable for different media and platforms, including letterheads, business cards, but also a Web site or video screens; it’s OK to be in grey tones only. But you can also try out color versions. • The idea is to convey a sense of experimentation, individuality, risk taking, adventure and freedom. • It's important that the connection with the name "Atlantic Point" is clear, thus the water and cliff / point element have to be obvious. • Use a historic glider design as shown in order to communicate that this is not a modern-day hang glider operation; think of Atlantic Point as a company set up solely for use by an individual to help with his pursuit of diverse, creative and entrepreneurial projects. • The logo should include the name of the organization as text, written as “atlanticpoint” with no space between the two words. Use a non-serif type font to inject a contemporary element that contrasts with the antique style of the glider. • Deliver files in formats enabling reproduction in various, including large, resolutions and file formats.
