Themed Background Designs for Vinyl Banner Print Company

We are a vinyl banner print company looking for a graphic designer to create themed background images in AI or EPS format for print on our banners. These will be used in conjunction with an online design tool which our customers will use to overlay text on top of the background design. The finished files should be delivered with editable foreground layers when possible (excluding text!), but we may also accept some flattened JPG backgrounds. Here are some examples: 1. The text will be added to these designs later. We only need the graphic elements. Space for our customer's text is a priority for vinyl banner designs. Larger text is generally preferred by customers because it can be seen from a greater distance, so the background designs should allow room for this text which will be chosen and placed by our customers. We do not want any foreground text included in the finished file. Specifications: Finished file format: AI (CS5) or EPS format Size: 12" high x 24" wide Margins: Background should extend to edge of 12"x24" artboard; make sure any important design elements are 1/2" or more away from the edges of the artboard - our banners are folded and hemmed on the edges, and some of the art is folded to the back side. Theme: Tax Time/Accounting Number of designs needed: Nine (9) to start with, we may order more depending on results. Examples of your original artwork needed. All artwork delivered must be free of copyright. Job will be awarded based on quality of design, turnaround time, and price. This is a one-time project which may lead to year-round work as we add new seasonal backgrounds to our new website, which is currently under development.
