Hello
I would like to build a Chrome Browser Plugin as a proof of concept for a potential full consumer-facing product. This plugin needs to just "work". It dosen't have to be fancy.
Here is what I would like it to do:
1. Listen on the local network for commands. I.E. listen on [login to view URL] or whatever.
2. Issue commands over the local network to do the following:
a. open a new tab [i.e. [login to view URL]]
b. navigate to a specific website on that new tab [i.e. [login to view URL]…]
c. control any embeded flash player, html5 video or silverlight video within the page [full screen, play, pause, etc] [i.e. [login to view URL]…]
d. close the new tab [i.e. [login to view URL]]
e. input text into form components [i.e. [login to view URL]] then [i.e. [login to view URL][a-z]NUMBER[1-9]]
That's it. When replying to this project, please state of the above, which (if any) cannot be done.
I'm very familiar with a new techonlogy on chrome browse witch support communication between two browses directly .And i konw it's very suitable to use it to complete your problem.
