I need an electronic design for the following.

I have a mains 230v supply operating a load of up to 2 Kwatts.

I need to switch this supply to this load On /Off via IR at distances of up to 5 metres using an RX in the device

I need the unit to sense the current drawn and when there is either no current drawn or this current drops below say 40 milliamps to switch off the power supply to the load.

An additional circuit with a small dc voltage supply will be required to power the IR device when the 230V supply is switched off and to have the ability, to reconnect the power supply to the load on activation by the IR TX.

Preferably, the provider would be able to supply and build a proto-type unit.

The cost of the proto-type unit is not included in this project and will be negotiated separately.

Project requirements:

1. The IR must have 4 channels.
2. Power for the unit in the active state must be from the 230V AC supply
3. Power for the unit in the standby mode must be from 3V DC . 2 X AAA batteries is acceptable.
4. The unit must be as small as possible.
5. Then RX for the device must have a “learn” facility in order that the TX can be from different sources.
6. As stated, preference will be given to a provider who is able to provide a working proto-type. If you are unable to provide this facility please say so.
7. If the project price range is not compatible with your quote please be so kind as to state why and give your alternative price.
8. The successful bidder will be required to sign a non disclosure agreement
9. The intellectual and copy rights will belong to the project originator. A separate agreement to this effect must be agreed and signed prior to the commencement of the project.
10. Any bidder who feels that they would prefer to be part of the “long term” prospects of this project and wishes to tender accordingly will be favourably considered.
