I am looking for a basic circuit that will trigger the shutter release on a Nikon D500 camera (using the camera's 10pin connector - using pins 6 & 4) when a laser light is pointed at a photodiode or similar electronic device in the circuit. The circuit needs to be very compact and run off a CR2450 battery as it will be fitted inside an underwater camera housing. I don't need the circuit built just the schematic that I can build. The circuit would need to fit in an area that is no larger than 40mm(w) x 20mm (l) x 10mm (h) and preferably built on a breadboard if possible.

Dear Client. I have just read your job description and your project is really interesting to me. I have many experiences working for 12+ years with Circuit design, PCB design, manufacturing functional prototyping with firmware programming and testing especially. I have developed many kinds of IOT and smart control devices in using Arduino, Raspberry pi 4, MCUs, Microcontroller. So that, your project is not problem for me. Here are some of the experiences that I built ago. - Schematic and PCB design and Layout using Altium Designer. - DDR, motor control, power converter, Keyboard, POE, UART, SPI, I2C, RF, BLE, LED lighting design. - ARM Cortex-M, DSP, MCUs(STM, Nuvoton and so on), Arduino, Raspberry pi experiences. I would be very grateful if you give me a chance to satisfy you. If you want, I can show you the products I've made until now to let you know I am the best choice. I'll do my best for you. Thank you for your time. Best regards.

Hello, the task seems pretty simple for me, I think will take several hours, I would need to test the circuit in real anyway. I probably would need you to measure the voltage and polarity on pins in question, if I don't find that information by myself. About me: I'm an electronic engineer with about 25 years of experience, also about 7 years of experience in 3D modelling using SolidWorks. Experience with Arduino and ESP32 controllers. Good technical background. Experience in 3D printing, manufacturing drawings. Prototyping is possible, both electronics and mechanics. I'm ready to discuss details by messaging before starting, contact me if interested. Best regards Anatolii

Hi there, this seems like an easy job, but I need more details on how exactly the trigger is triggered, like is there a special kind an LED that triggers it? UV or IR for example? , how would you like to the trigger to be triggered? by button or by timing? one pulse or many? So many questions to perfect this project for you ^_^ Let us communicate so we can understand better and I will proof the circuit on a breadboard for you and more importantly measure the current consumption for you.
