Migrate Drupal to WordPress

General Project Notes Need help from a developer with both WordPress and Drupal experience to help migrate a site from Drupal to WordPress. See the general workflow in the following list. We will be working off the staging site to do the migration (need your pub key). We have a migration script functioning but it might need to be fine-tuned etc, definitely run multiple times to get the data right. Project length about a week - 10 days General proposed workflow Work from existing migration plan mapping of content types to post types and URL sitemap. DB schema changes: add a few new post types to production. 20 Drupal content types total provided with around 500 pieces of Drupal content Synch production DB to dev (have bash script working for this) Run migration scripts on dev with backup Drupal and WordPress installations Adjust for duplicates and field differences between merged content and post types Import all Drupal content types and taxonomies (5), mapped to existing or new post types and categories Append migrated data to the production environment Theming: address some, not all front end changes for migrated data, mostly for (views) (2) Port over media (the script does this) Address SEO links Test Publish merged DB to production
