Advanced DevOps In Person Workshop

This project is all about delivering a truly hands-on, advanced DevOps workshop on site. The audience already has a solid foundation, so the sessions should dive straight into real-world architecture patterns, troubleshooting techniques, and best-practice pipelines. Scope of the training The content must revolve around four pillars: • Docker & Kubernetes: production-grade container orchestration, Helm, rolling upgrades, health checks, and cluster troubleshooting. • Jenkins & full CI/CD workflows: pipeline as code, shared libraries, and secure credential handling. • Terraform & Infrastructure as Code: reusable modules, remote state management, and multi-cloud strategies. • Linux at the ops layer: performance tuning, hardening, and debugging under load. Session format Everything will be delivered face-to-face, preferably as an interactive workshop with live demos and guided labs rather than slide-only lectures. Attendees should leave having built and deployed at least one end-to-end pipeline on their own laptops or provided lab machines. Deliverables • A detailed curriculum outline approved before the first session • Slide deck, demo scripts, and step-by-step lab guides (shareable as PDF/Markdown) • On-site facilitation of the workshop (dates to be agreed) • Post-workshop recap: recorded Q&A or summary notes plus a short skills assessment to gauge retention Acceptance criteria All tools must be demonstrated live; participants must complete labs without unresolved errors; and final feedback forms should average “satisfied” or better.
