Part Time Bookeeper needed to enter paid invoices/deposits in Quickbooks, reconcile monthly for two companies that share the same suite. Most work can be done via TeamViewer or Logmein. An office visit once a week to log in sales tax in Excel spreadsheet for quarterly payments as well as, mail certificates to clients. 2003-2011: Owner, NanCo Uniform Mfgr. A 16+ employee Healthcare Uniform Manufacturing facility. I managed and worked in the accounting, sales, and customer service areas. No electronic data was present when the business was purchased. I researched, implemented, maintained, organized and linked all electronic data and systems; created online e-commerce business; payroll; IT/networking/virtual connections, commercial factory workflow floor plan consisting of office, production area, warehouse and shipping/receiving. I solely performed all accounting functions: AP, AR, Payroll, Account Reconciliations, GJ Entries, Financials, Insurance Reports, all Government filing requirements including Sales Tax for 8 states (1 with multi-county rates), Month End processing and reports, Payroll Taxes, Quarterly and Yearly closing and reports, Tax Returns, etc. I performed and delegated constant analysis and continual improvement in all areas. I chose to close this business to care for my 100% dependent, special needs daughter. She is now deceased. 2011-2017: Full-Charge Accountant, Thompson & Sons Body Work Inc. I implemented, processed and managed their in-house Payroll for 12+ employees and their IT networking. I reduced vendor debt by $30,000 in 2 years; brought the books (which were 4 months behind) up to date within 30 days; re-captured $225 in overpaid sales tax; and managed the selling of this C-Corp business. In 2017, I trained the new owner’s wife.
