Need someone to program a simplistic automated trading system in C++.
Just a few basic if-then type statements that will automatically execute a trade when triggered. Take a look at [login to view URL] under custom indicators and strategies. This will give you an idea of the application. I imagine there are templates created that are available to work from.
Here is our basic logic in narrative form. Will make more concise for you:
ok so I've seen enough with the 10 min Heiken Ashi chart. Let's make this super easy for the programmer and of course lets talk about it.
- First color bar on the close. Enter market order. Stay until color changes or $200 per contract is reached. (if its red we are short if its green we are long. 1pt stop)
- Once color changes we Reverse and go with the color. 1pts stop $200 profit.
This is where it gets more customization...I mean we could stay in until the color changes again and just flip flop back and forth on each color change.
That would keep us in the market longer for bigger moves but would move up our brokerage fees due to the reentering etc.
Not sure which one makes the most sense. We could make it very simple...10 min color change and we go with it all day.
The only time this would get us is on a day like today towards the last part of the day it flipped red and green almost every bar.
Actually.....we could cut off the program at 2pm to avoid the chop...
