I have just re-launched MillyBooks and, in the process, watched most of our hard-earned rankings disappear. Both [login to view URL] (NextJS/React) and our WordPress sub-domain now need fresh authority signals and better on-page SEO to gain visibility to our ICP. Our ICP profile is small U.S. insurance agency owners who are thinking about retirement or divesting part of their book of business. My immediate priority is two fold 1. Off-page SEO that actually moves the needle: relevant backlinks, digital PR placements, and any other white-hat techniques that restore trust with Google, Bing, and emerging AI search tools. Along the way I’ll still need advice on WordPress settings and metadata, but the first milestone is simple—send qualified, organic traffic back to our pages. 2. On-page SEO / GEO: optimization of metadata, content organization, help with FAQ and other sections that help crawlers understand and trust the information we are providing. We use LLM to assist with content generation. Deliverables I’m looking for: • Audit of our current backlink profile and clear roadmap for authority growth • Placement of new, high-quality links on insurance, finance, and small-business sites (no PBNs or spam) • Monthly reporting through Google Search Console, Bing, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and GA4 showing domain-level gains and indexed pages • Practical recommendations for on-page tweaks so we keep every bit of link equity that we win I’ll consider the engagement a success when organic sessions and relevant keyword rankings trend up for both domains and our pages are once again being surfaced to agency owners researching a sale or partial exit. If you have proven outreach processes and references, let’s talk timing and next steps. If we see longer session browsing traffic to consuming the content and interested user sign-ups from agency owners, there is opportunity for continued work.
