I would like someone to write a simple API in C# (asp.net), that when passed an email address, returns data (name, profile picture, and anything else) on that person from LinkedIn I am assuming this will require some form of OAuth authentication, but if it doesn't that's better. The email address being queried could be anybody, not the person authenticated against linkedIn. It's not just a own-account lookup. * It must not use screen scraping, or a technique that is not allowed by LinkedIn. * If an Oauth access token is required, then this should be as long lived as possible, and stored in a database for future use. There should be an easy way to refresh this token when it expires. This project will be used in conjunction with [login to view URL] - to help get profile pictures, and names from LinkedIn also. Please take a look at [login to view URL] - as this demonstrates that the system is possible. Payment terms: These payment guidelines are not negotiable. I will cancel the project immediately if you try to renegotiate the payment terms, or do not read them. 1. The price you bid is the price I pay. If you bid $10, and then ask for $1,000 then goodbye. 2. I will set 2 milestones, one on Proof of concept, and one on delivery. I Pay nothing up front. Don't Ask for an upfront payment. I will set the first milestone when you've manged to get a LinkedIn Oauth token, as a proof of competency.

Hi, 1. Rapportive= i have used in C# desktop application BUT it requires chrome browser to work as it is addon so for standalone app this is not possible 2. API Oauth: This works when user logins using his Linkedin Email/Password Idea= we can use one predefined LI email/password in backend and try to find info of other email which we want to query about Point2 works Only when "we have a special partnership with LinkedIn which allows you access to non-public API functions.
