Simple sql server front end tool

I am looking for a web front end to update a SQL database (single query). The SQL query should be user definable (allow select * from table/view or exec sp_something etc). The front end should use a grid to display the rows returned by the query. Each column should be configurable; read only (y/n), text colour, background colour, bold, display format (for dates, numeric etc). The grid should allow filtering and sorting on any column (grouping/subtotals would be a bonus). Columns not set to read only should be immediately editable (no clicking an edit button). When focus is moved away from an edited cell the edit will be sent back to the SQL server immediately. The update query should be user definable (allow update table/view set col = val where field = key or exec sp_something val, key etc). The solution should employ a technique to prevent a postbacks (AJAX etc). The solution should be clean (minimal amount of code). I suggest building the solution with a simple sql table along the lines; PK_A, PK_B, Name, DOB, Salary A, 1, Lee, 01/01/1970, 25000.00 A, 2, Dave, 01/02/1980, 55000.00 The primary key is a composite of PK_A and PK_B.
