One of our customers records conferences and distributes them on flash drives. They want their video content protected from theft on the flash drive. We've determined that we can successfully place DVD-type content into an encrypted container as a Video_TS folder on the flash drive and play it using a portable version of VLC. This is a portable flash drive application. The application's purpose is to access Video content and a collection of .PDF's. Since .exe files need to be opened from within this code, the project will probably need to be written in C++. Our customer wants this app to be menu driven. We need one main screen (shown below) to be part of this application. All of the submenus for selecting video presentations will be developed by TurnKey Solutions using DVD authoring tools. The video content will be played through a portable version of VLC. .PDF's are just accessed through Windows or OSX file explorer. TurnKey Solutions will produce the video content that will reside within the Video_TS folder that gets accessed by the portable VLC. Likewise, the .pdf files will be provided by TurnKey Solutions. We'll just stage 1-empty PDF folder as a place holder to dump the files in when we receive them from our customer. TurnKey Solutions will provide 2 or more, (however many are needed) 16 GB flash drives with exFAT format. ExFAT is compatible with the large file sizes required for our video content. The flash drives will also contain Veracrypt and the portable VLC player for both Mac and Windows and a .jpg of what the main screen needs to look like. Additionally, there will be an already-encrypted volume, of about 15GB, on each flash drive. The attached file describes the complete project.
