Content of the report: Ability to write a persuasive, informative and well-structured report is one of the key skills required in business life. Imagine that you have been asked by the Board of Directors in your company to produce an analytical report discussing the key factors which would contribute to the long-term success of a company, using a case study to identify, illustrate and explain these factors. In order to produce a satisfactory report you need to include the following elements: 1. Identify and present an exemplar company (established before 1960s) that in your opinion achieved success; Cleary support your choice. 2. Critically analyse and discuss the key factors (these might be both internal and external) that influenced the success of the selected company. 3. Reflect on your findings using the existing literature, and relevant empirical experience of the guest speakers hosted during the lectures.
