We are building Zerra Homes — a premium D2C home decor and lighting brand for modern Indian homes ([login to view URL]). We are looking for a talented logo and brand identity designer to create a complete logo system for us. THE BRAND Zerra Homes sells premium home decor and lighting — table lamps, floor lamps, accent tables, rattan, and wooden decor. Our aesthetic is Japandi-minimal: a fusion of Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian warmth. Natural materials (rattan, wood, linen) are central to our identity. Tagline: "Timeless Decor. Thoughtful Living." Brand references (feel, not copy): Muji, Aesop, Ferm Living, The Line Hotel. WHAT WE NEED We need a complete logo system with: 1. A wordmark — "zerra homes" in a warm medium-weight font 2. A standalone mark/icon that works at all sizes (favicon to product label) 3. Full set of lockups — horizontal, stacked, mark-only, wordmark-only 4. All colour versions — dark on cream, reversed light, single-colour black and white THE MARK DIRECTION We want a standalone icon that is abstract, minimal, and ownable. Two directions to explore: Direction A — An architectural form inspired by the letter "Z" — redrawn as a doorway, arch, or window opening. Geometric, warm proportions. Should feel architectural, not typographic. Direction B — A woven square — abstract grid or weave pattern referencing rattan and cane (central to our products). Minimal, natural, premium. Or propose your own concept if you have a stronger idea that captures our brand personality. WHAT WE DON'T WANT No literal houses, roofs, lamps, or leaves. No gradients, shadows, or 3D effects. No trendy styles. No circle-with-a-letter. Must not look like a real estate, pharma, or banking brand.
