Virtual assistant

We are a small distribution company working in food and food service packaging. We are looking for a Virtual Assistant to provide administrative and marketing support to our team while working remotely.
As a Virtual Assistant, you will perform various administrative tasks including email management, manage incoming sales, general bookkeeping and various marketing and sales research. For this role, a strong Internet connection is required, along with experience using communication tools
Ultimately, you should be able to handle administrative projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
• Respond and organize emails
• Manage all aspects of incoming sales orders (order entry to order billing)
• Prepare and manage purchase orders
• CRM - Updating data
• General bookkeeping
• Monitor ecommerce activity, and update products and data where needed
• Update all price lists and accounting software with new buy and selling prices of products and services
• Marketing – create new marketing material where needed, perform market research
• Sales research – finding new leads, finding online directories(to find clients and list our company)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports on sales and purchases
Requirements and skills
• Experience as a Virtual Assistant or relevant role
• Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services and VoIP
• Experience with eCommerce, ERP systems, CRM systems
• Excellent email and instant messaging communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Solid organizational skills
• High school diploma; additional qualifications as an Administrator or Executive Assistant are a plus
Languages
• English - Native or fluent
• French – professional working proficiency
Hours needed
• 8-10 hours a week
• As time goes on, more time might be needed.
