Video Game Writer

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications: You have excellent writing and copy-editing skills. You have written for a mainstream publication. You know how to move a story forward and make it your own. You're able to present gaming news coverage to a broad audience. You know the industry, and can identify/cover ongoing and emerging trends. You feel comfortable drawing from your own experiences to highlight games and products people should know about. ARTICLE TOPICS The topics includes but not limited to: - Gaming rumors (Black Ops 4 Coming in 2018?) - Gaming news (Pokemon Go Legendary Week Kicks Off With Kyogre and Groudon) or (PUBG will begin testing connection-based matchmaking this week) - Gaming features (Top 10 PS4 Games of 2018) - Gaming guides (How to Farm Faction Tokens in Season 2 of Destiny 2) ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS - 100% unique (passes copyscape) - 400 words minimum for each article -- articles may be longer, but nothing will be less than 400 words - Topic categories and titles will be provided to you. You are expected to do your own research. - Provide insightful ideas, actionable steps and in-depth discussion of the topic given. - Source relevant images for each article and properly cite - Fill out and complete Yoast SEO for each blogpost - Share and promote the articles through your social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, etc) WORKLOAD: You need to be able to write a minimum of 5 articles per week on a regular basis. This is a long term job. WHEN APPLYING: Please provide the following when applying for this job: - Your past experience in writing articles related to the above topics. - 2-3 samples of your past work related to topics above - Your rates per 100 words. P.S. I've placed an arbitrary budget of $250. It is arbitary. Payment will be made via milestone/bonus payment after each assignment.
