General qualifications needed: • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English language • Very good knowledge of computers, including MS Office package and Google Docs, knowing your way around search engines and social media (Facebook / Twitter) • Creativity and ability to find new and interesting topics • Willingness to learn • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure or over time when necessary • Receptiveness to constructive criticism • Good knowledge of poker and poker related topics Previous experience Having some previous experience, working for an online media site on a similar position, is not a prerequisite but is an advantage. Job description From our writers we are expecting to write several articles a week pertaining to relevant topics. Type of articles that you will be doing can be found on one of our web sites [login to view URL] We will provide the necessary assistance and training in terms of where to find the relevant information, but it will be a part of your job too to monitor these pages and suggest good stories to publish. We are also interested in writers who stay on top of poker media, with a good sense of humor, an opinion and who have a good eye for embedding media in content i.e. Tweets, FB Posts and so forth.
