CPLR #3: Site design, logo, certification symbol

**Hey, vWorker newbies!** We need minimal site design, a logo, and a certification symbol. The site is a niche-specific marketplace matching buyers and sellers, and one of the value-add's is that the site will "certify" the seller's work. A certification symbol is needed to indicate this. It will likely be needed at several different sizes; obviously a tiny one will not be able to display as much detail, but both will have their purpose. (e.g., A list of items might have the tiny version next to each certified deliverable, but then the page for a single item would use a larger version.) We have discussed using a badge or a shield or a starburst or some combination thereof. The site logo needs to incorporate the domain name at the very least. :-) While it seems recursive, I think that it will be helpful if the badge contains *some* element of the logo, (perhaps the initial letters of the domain's name?), so as to indicate that the certification is awarded by the site's management, but *also* that the site logo contain some element(s) of the certification symbol, (if not the entire thing). Obviously, it's physically impossible for each to contain the other in their entirety, :-) but I think you can set up enough mental pointers from one to the other to communicate the idea. Once you have those two elements, the rest of the site needs some reasonable design to pull everything together. This may not have to be very much more than a continuation of color and some minimal elements; we want to draw the viewer's attention to the actual site content, rather than to the graphic elements. :-) ## Deliverables Once you see the site, please replace the jade green theme, as I personally feel that this is too "heavy" for what we are trying to communicate. The site needs to imply that interaction is quick and easy. We want to see a color scheme of a metallic chrome/silver with some deep/dark red accents. Some ideas: ![][1] ![][2] The site design *needs* to play well with the underlying Zen Cart content management system. I hate to have to even mention the following two points here, but suffice to say that I have been on vWorker for many years, and I've seen a lot of different behaviors. Do not start (or complete) work on this particular project until your bid has been accepted; that is against vWorker policy. I want to be impressed by your *existing* work, not on your willingness to do my job with the potential of not getting paid if not selected. *All* portions of your portfolio *must* be your own work! Any discrepancies in quality between your original application and your project submission will be reported to vWorker, (and I've never lost a single arbitration here). Sorry to be so blunt here, but I've seen plenty of fraud over the years. I've also seen many remarkable, talented workers with great work ethics here! :-)
