Booking system

1. Phone Rings and the database checks the phone number and display the customer details are display. If the number is not recognised then unknown is entered and the user enters the details. The system should cope with a few telephone line. 2. The user enter were to drop off the letter and what time and date. 3. If the date is different then another popup screen comes up and the information is booked for that date 4. The computer then gives the car the job. However if the car is dropping near or two car are near that location then the first car that clear he gets the job. 5. Also if the car is in certain area which we will define later then the next car will get the job not the one that is clearing. 6. If he car doesn’t go to address then it passes the job to the next car and informed the user 7. The user can hold the job and give it to a driver and override the computer 8. If he jobs are getting late then the small box appears and inform the user. 9. Also the computer will record the following • How long the phone has been ringing • How many missed call • Jobs passed • Driver who don’t go to a piratical address or a are ( which will be defined) Later on the year we would like a way of sending the data from out computer to the cars. 1. A unit will be need were it will have a displayed the information for the job 2. We may like the data to be sent buy a PDA using wireless device etc Note: The software will be written in VB and I will own the copyrights. There will be modification later on and the person who writes the software will also have the contact to update the system which will be required. The corder will have to sign a contract if he is intering. I also would like a outline on how the progrmmer will carry out this project any diagram will help me decide who is he righ person for this kind of work
