Hello I didn't understand your task, and why SPSS. Please explain clearly. I want to understand: What is your target? "I want to find the statistical sweet spot of the data set". A sweet sport of the data set for what? How do you measure this sweet spot?

Hi, I have taken a look at your data and the question you are posing. The 'sweet spot' depends on your trading strategy and style. Are you looking for the lowest drawdown or the largest expected payof? Furthermore, if possible I would suggest backtesting your strategies for longer than a one month period.
