design (but do not code) a golang program to create/manipulate MS Excel files

Currently, I have a process for analyzing web analytics data that involves an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). The SOP requires the use of three separate command line golang programs (70 lines of code, 200 lines of code and 250 line of code) as well as several manual steps in MS Excel in order to achieve the desired analytics data. This SOP is described in detail in a 3 page MS Word document which will be provided later. This SOP document and all golang source code will be provided to the selected bidder.

This project requires you to write a 5 page (approximate) design document in MS Word on how to automate more of the above steps golang the SOP. Automation might include extending golang code such as [url removed, login to view] . Plan on 2 iterations of the document and discussion and Q&A (question and answer). I will be available to answer any questions you might have.

This project does NOT require writing any code. Instead it involves reading/reviewing existing code and golang writing a design document (in MS Word) on how to automate/optimize more the process. The deliverable for this project is a single MS Word document (and no new code).
