assign a server a public static IP
How do you assign a server a public IP??
I am running a modem in bridge mode to my server
I edit file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
<looks like this >
# DEVICE=eth0
# BOOTPROTO=static
# HWADDR=12:23:44:43:56:43
# IPADDR=[login to view URL]
< [login to view URL] is my public ip >
Once its changed I get no connection I can't ssh into it.
