dbpedia connection

Hi I am relatively new to web programming and ajax. I have a windows web host and have been using asp.net and sql and recently a little jquery. I would like to to create something like an auto-complete text box for adding tags to articles. One source for this data could be [login to view URL] (wikipedia categories). I have no knowledge of things like n-triples, remote access, database management, sparql or most of the things mentioned on semantic websites. I would like someone to help show me how to access the data and find a solution.
