Hi I would like to set up a remote monitoring system for my aquaponics system - there is a you tube clip "internet of farming" which shows a system running like what I am looking for I probably don't need anything that fancy, but what I would like is the following: 1. A ph sensor (essential) 2. A thermometer (essential) 3. An auto feeder (less essential) 4. A flow rate meter (less essential) 5. Other sensor if available (eg. Ammonia, nitrates etc) I don't know much about all this, but it sounds like the whole thing runs through an arduino and publishes straight to the internet. I would like to have a quote for the following: 1. Just the programming for the arduino and the publishing setup 2. The programming plus the arduino itself 3. The program, the arduino, plus the components Look forward to hearing from you I am in Australia, so my power supply is 240v and you may need to consider postage Cheers Leigh

This bid includes just programming and explaining how do program and connect everything. With Arduino you don't need someone to get the components and connect them and ship to you. It is pretty easy to do it yourself and you will save some bucks. I can work with all those sensors and we can hook the Arduino to the Internet via WiFi or LAN i can make the Arduino act like a web server and you can monitor from anywhere (and from your smartphone) the sensors data in real time.

Hi there, First off, I am extremely interested in doing this particular aquaponics/water system as I personally have worked with many aquarium pneumatic equipments and other similar things. My name is Keith and I am an engineer and a design freelancer here on the site and have experience in many different areas of electrical and design engineering. I watched the clip that you were talking about and I think that I can help you out with this. The PH Sensor, Autofeeder, Thermometer and Flow Rate Meter are all easily implementable. Because I'm in the states it would be hard for me to deliver you a physical piece, however, I can at least create the code for you, design everything, and give you easy to do instructions. For just the programming, I can do that for about 185 or so dollars. This will come with the electrical design as well, something essential for you. I can do either battery powered or wall powered. This will be: The coding for the arduino. For the other two, we would need to discuss a few details. Get back to me and I'll see what I can do for you. Anyone charging over what I'm charging is taking you for a ride.

Hi there, I am an Australian Engineer based in Melbourne, I have just finished installing an Arduino controlled garden watering system in my greenhouse so am confident I could deliver what you ask for as the only component that is new to me is the pH meter, which I decided against using mine due to it not being a hydroponic setup but more a normal garden and the pH sensor would have double the cost of my garden. However, there are arduino compatible pH sensors and I'm sure I can install one in this setup. I have said 45 days, because there would be lead time on deliveries etc and I was hoping that would be a conservative estimate. And I chose $750 as I believe I could provide a working tested system for this amount, plus or including shipping depending on where you live. Also as requested here are my estimated quotes for the 3 levels of work you have on your advertisement: 1. Programming Only - $250 2. Programming + Arduino - $300 (I'm not sure whether you mean for me to write the program and then upload it for you to the arduino with instruction on how to plug in/make the sensors?, perhaps you could clarify for me?) 3. Working electronics system, to take measurements (flow, pH, Temp) and send these readings over WiFi (ie. Twitter, somewhere else?) which you can install into your current setup (I'd need to know the setup- $750 I hope I have covered everything you wish to know, if not send me a message and I'll try to filli in any gaps for you.
