I'm looking to automate a repetitive task... Every day I have a new folder of product images, named depending on the product view, never more than 5 product views. File names for example: "[login to view URL]" or "[login to view URL]" or "[login to view URL]" or "[login to view URL]" After editing the images, I have to open a corresponding .xls spreadsheet which is the shotlist for each day's folder of images. There is a column named "Product Code" that contains the first 9 digit code from the image file names. I need to create a script that will search the spreadsheet and mark off the images that are accounted for. There is a separate column named "RT" where I mark the cell red if there is finished image. Sometimes there are images without a matching excel entry, sometimes there are entries without a corresponding image. I don't think this is a difficult project for someone familiar with Applescript. Hi, For previous Applescript projects have a look at clients' reviews section under my profile. I think that your project is feasible, after some clarification: - how would the script know where the image folder and the excel file are located? Are they always in the same location? - what to do with the images that don't match any row in the excel file? Feel free to ask further details. Kind regards, Mike

Hello, I should be able to lend a hand on this. I'm assuming you are using a PC with Excel. I would also need to know what version of Excel you are using to ensure it's compatible. I look forward to possibly lending a hand.
