Contributor Author NCLEX REVIEW MANUAL

We are currently seeking doctoral and masters level prepared registered nurses as contributing authors in developing a new, high-quality NCLEX-RN Review Manual consistent with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) test plan: • Assessment • Nursing Diagnosis • Outcomes/Goals • Planning • Implementation • Evaluation Contributors are needed as writers of individual modules within the manual. Before signing a contract with Edison Review LLC, prospective contributors will receive an outline on the module of interest enabling thorough evaluation of the quantity, quality, and depth of work necessary. Contributing Authors are required to use up to date, well-recognized and established nursing texts, as well as journal articles and other resources consistent with the requirements and guidelines of NCSBN. Contributing authors may use resources from their personal library or other academic resources published within the past 5 years. Requirements and Qualifications • Doctoral Degree (PhD or DNP) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN, MS) • Minimum of 5 years Clinical and Didactic expertise in one or more of the following areas: • Psychiatric Nursing • Pediatric Nursing • OB-GYN Nursing • Labor and Delivery Nursing • Medical-Surgical Nursing Writers are also needed for Fundamentals of Nursing • Experience in Nursing Education is a plus • Strong writing skills • Proficiency or familiarity with American Psychology Association (APA) format, writing and referencing style • Proficiency is Microsoft Word or Apple Pages program • An eye for attention to detail and accuracy Compensation and contracts are based on a single module. The completed first draft must be submitted for review and editing within 45 days of return of the signed and dated contract to Edison Review LLC The first draft of the module is required within 45 days of the Contributor Author's signing date of this contract. Upon receipt, the draft will undergo review and editing. Editors will have 4 weeks to review the first draft and forward requests for revisions to the Contributor Author. The Contributor Author will have 4 weeks to make corrections and resubmit the Work to Edison Review LLC. It is the sole discretion of the Editors and Edison Review LLC to accept the final Work. This payment is non-negotiable. Compensation is paid as follows: 20% – $100 is paid upon completion of the first draft of an entire module after the submission is reviewed 80% – $400 is paid upon receipt of the final manuscript and after the first draft has been reviewed, edited, returned to the Contributor Author, and revisions to the draft have been made by the Contributor Author. The completed first draft must be submitted for review and editing within 45 days of return of the signed and dated contract to Edison Review LLC. If the first draft is received between days 46 and 60, the Contributor Author will receive $100 after submission of the first draft of the module and $300.00 compensation (Total = $400.00) after the first draft has been reviewed, edited, returned to the Contributor Author, and revisions to the draft have been made by the Contributor Author. If the first draft is received between days 61 and 75, the Contributor Author will receive $100.00 after submission of the first draft of the entire module and $200.00 compensation (Total = $300.00) after the first draft has been reviewed, edited, returned to the Contributor Author, and revisions to the draft have been made by the Contributor Author.
