Dear sir(s)/madam(s): I'm a software developer with 17+ years experience. A strong part of it has been built designing and implementing database applications for Linux/UNIX. My offer is to write an application (I will give the full source code, documented with comments) that: * Will have a module that each time that is going to be launched will built a list of files newer than a specified one, and store this list on a text file. * Will have another module that will store the information of the mentioned file on a SQL database. (Can be MySQL, Firebird, SQLite or another) The database will be designed to support holding the information of multiple systems/OS installations. * Will have a GUI module (GTK+ 2/3) that will generate reports to screen / printer / text file of the OS installations tracked on the SQL database. Reports can include largest tiles that have never been used, how a directory has changed over time, the first time and last time a file was found and others. The data producing/storing modules can be designed for using with CRON / (X)INETD or as a fully independent daemons that will be running / listening on their own. They will have log files. I plan to implement the modules on using FreePascal/Lazarus. It's a high quality Open Source application development system that builds 100% native ELF binaries.
