Hi, Our company [login to view URL] recently closed few larger corporate deals and we need to improve our backend, API and move the entire server infrastructure to Amazon AWS. We are looking for skilled guys to join the team remotely and support the development as well as the maintenance. Required Skills: - 2-4+ years of experience preferred - Strong Unix/Linux Admin - Web programming and scripting ability (bash, python, etc.) - Infrastructure automation skills with Salt, Chef, Puppet, fabric, travis-ci or similar - Eager to build the next big thing and obsessed with greatness! - Broad knowledge of the following with deep knowledge of some: Python, Javascript, LAMP, nginx, Varnish, git, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS - Working knowledge of software development methodologies including monitoring, code profiling, regression testing, and continuous integration - 3+ years’ experience as either a LAMP stack software developer and/or systems administrator with at least 1 year of current experience working with a high-traffic site - Experience with high-availability, high-performance, open source web technologies - Experience with cloud platforms, open source databases and caching layers Basically, the first task is to move our old infrastructure from multi-server, OVH-hosted architecture to some reliable, scalable cloud-based architecture like AWS and help us to improve it during the time. We also have lots of infrastructure and services we want to backup, monitor and have it deployed and tested in continuous integration standards.

Hi. I read the project description and got interested. I would like to know more details about the old infrastructure so that we could make the architecture for the new one based on AWS. I'm not such an big expert in AWS but I really like AWS and this project is challenging for me. About this migration, who else will be involved in this process? You mention the team, can you describe a little the team members ? Thx, waiting for details. Hope we will collaborate.

Hi, We have expertise in amazon web services. We can setup aws ec2, aws s3 and other amazon products with best configuration. We have expert knowledge of as below techniques:- 1. EC2 creation modification termination 2. Assigning and removing elastic ips on live instance 3. S3 bucket creation, mounting bucket to different EC2 instances, uploading contents into bucket. 4. EBS volume creation, attaching volumes to different live ec2 instances 5. Volume snapshot creation and then restoring instance from that snapshot 6. Expanding volume in live ec2 instance without data loss 7. Security group creation, assigning security and permission on different services 8. RDS management, creating databases, attaching same database to different instances, backup of databases, expanding database size on live instance 9. Load balancing according to traffic on site 10. DNS fail over and recovering it from same or different region 11. Auto scaling in which if any of the instance will stop responding then a copy of instance will be loaded so that there will be no down time. 12. Backup of instances, database, volumes 13. Cloud front, it help us to load contents of website from near by location 14. Monitoring services Technologies which we are covering in above points are mentioned below: 1. Amazon Elastic computer cloud (EC2) 2. Amazon Relational Database Services(RDS) 3. EBS 4. Route53 5. Amazon Cloud front 6. Amazon Simple storage services (AmazonS3) 7. ELB 8. Auto Scaling Thank you

Hi, I am an experience Django/Python developer and server administrator. I use Django since v1.0 and current working with Django 1.8 for new project and maintaining several Django 1.4 websites. I was coming from Elance, and used to be 5 start and high rating freelancer. I would like to get more information about the role and interested in establish a long term working relationship as full time developer. For frontend UI skill, I have experience in JQuery, Backbone.js & angular.js and Bootstrap (for CSS). For Server Administration skill, I have experience with Amazon EC2, MySQL replication & clusters, Nagios, Zabbix and RabbitMQ. And I have both OVH and AWS experience. Besides, I am also an experience Android developer, very experience in Django API backend + mobile frontend project. Although I have been working for 16 years in IT , willing to learn is my strength , therefore, I am sure we can share our knowledge and work in a team and learn from each other.

I have experience in all the technologies you mentioned, and have around 16 years of software development expertise, working in premier companies like Microsoft/Yahoo!. I am a great problem solver and analytical thinker. I am sure I can do this easily for you, as I am an expert in Unix/Linux admin commands, web programming, python, JavaScript etc... many things you mentioned. I am sure I can do this easily.

I have been working with Aws in the last 4 years.. Originally I was java developer but now doing both devops and java development for my clients in london like Expedia,Reuters,Cisco.. I can send you my up to date CV if needed.. i am not a sys admin and don't think you need a sys admin .. what you need is someone who know automation infrastructure with CI principles.
