I believe the client was a reseller of this kinda merchandise. So I have hand on experience in the topic. So I can help you with content for sure. I mean I have the writers who can do it. Are you trying to monetize the blog using affiliate/reseller programs? Or you have a line of products in this niche? And for other stuff like setting up the Blog, List Building, Optin Forms, Newsletters etc etc I can sure help you. I can work with WordPress from top to bottom or joomla but WordPress is preferred as it has lots of Plugins to enhance the website features. If you are looking to set up a store related to this Blog, we can probably look into a custom WooCommerce store on WordPress or a Shopify store if you prefer a lean start.
