I need this project as an student paper. If anything not given assume something and explain it. Project also need a hand writing calculations for everytep to solve it. (calculations, excel or matlab files.). In second part of the project also detailed force analyses for helical gearing is compulsory. The first question is;
1)Considering steady state working
conditions, design the bearing which carries the greater load, and give the technical drawings of the bearing
including tolerances. Specify the maximum roughness. Necessary data for the design of journal bearings is
provided in the table below. Do not take the axial load on the shaft into consideration since it is supported
by a thrust bearing which is not shown in the figure. (figure 3 and table 1)
2)Choose the appropriate antifriction bearings with possible minimum bore
diameter, give the assembly drawings of the casing and the mounting details of the bearings.( Table2 and figure 4)
For the solution of the problem for the values of for example; ho/c, v,v1, a1, a23, fr/c, Qs/Q, Q/4nRcl ; values like this must be taken from the tables on Shigley's Mechanical engineering design book 8th edition that is included on the attachment (soft copy).
Moreover, to choose the bearing and finding the values of d,D, Ciso, C0iso, ect STEYR cataloque must be used also included in attachment.
