Custom zen cart template

I am a freelancer myself, but I have become very ill in the middle of a project. I need extra hands to help me get to the end. I am heavily modifying a zen cart template to match a design that was provided to me. Before my illness, I was running into some trouble with modifying how products appeared on category pages, etc. I do not have the energy to complete this research now, and would like to pass off the zen cart programming. Most likely, I would let you know what basic HTML structure zen cart's PHP needed to spit out, then handle the CSS styling myself. Please be certain you have a strong grasp of zen cart! I am so sick, I really need someone to help.
