Custom Job Search Engine (XML/API)

We're looking to create an industry-specific job search website based on [login to view URL]'s XML-based API. You can read about their API here: [login to view URL] The job search engine will be focused on one type of online job - their API is pretty simple so it will be easy to customize queries so that the results are relevant. The main page of the website should have a general tabbed look and feel like [login to view URL] The first page (the tab would be "Job Seekers") will allow the user to just click on a state name and then hit a second page which has results in the state with the specific type of job - the user can also customize the search just like at the clusty site. The results page will not need to have any of the special clusty functionality - just the results is fine in an organized format. The second tab ("Employers") should present a page that has the same style of page as the job seeker page - with a list of states. However, clicking the states here will not hit the [login to view URL] API - instead the states will link to webpages with paragraphs about job seekers looking for jobs in those states (this will be submitted by users into forms on the sites - then emailed to the webmaster who will update the pages) - ideally this would be set-up through a simple content management system so that it is easy to update the pages - if all of this can be done in Word Press simply that would be great. The first and second tabs can be done in phases - and there are other elements that we would like to integrate in the future so this could be a longer-term development project. The key here is to get the first tab functionality up and running with a clean user interface - any souped up graphics can be part of a later project. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. We can discuss what to design it in (PHP, Python, etc.) 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights and other intellectual property rights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc.). ## Platform PHP/Python/etc. - to be discussed.
