An existing WordPress site has a number of plugins including Custom Content Types. It is required that in the admin section a customised column is made sortable on a meta value.
Specifically, there is a table of upcoming events. These events are sorted based on the WordPress post creation date. They need to be sortable based on the event date which is a custom field meta value.
The change should involve modification of the [login to view URL] rather than the addition of a plugin.
