create 11x17 concert poster in Adobe Illustrator

I would like you to take an 11 x 17 concert poster I created and make it better. I will give you an Adobe Illustrator file with artwork and text. I want you to take my boring poster and create a very cool concert poster in black and white for a salsa music band that is playing locally in a couple of weeks. It's a fund-raising concert for a friend of mine who is sick, so I will give you a photo of him and his family to use on the poster. I want one version with it and one without it included. I would like to have the file in Adobe Illustrator with text not "outlined" so that I can change it if last minute needs dicatate. You don't need to use the fonts that I have used, please use what you think looks good, but please use fonts that are freely avaiable or that you can provide to me so I can edit the text if i have to.
