Decision Matrix Software

This should prove to be a very simple project for an experienced programmer It involves the development of software that performs a simple mathamatical function to enable people to make important decisions. When the software is used for buying a house you would determine what features are important to you and rate them accordinly and give them an apropriate weighting. You would then rate the features of the houses you visit against your important features. This is then entered into the program, and the program tells you which house best meets your criteria. It is important that there be a high level of flexibility in the development of the initial list of features to be assessed. The major benefit is that this software is that it can be put into practice in a vide variety of scenarios to benefit people when making an objective, comparative assessment of two or more items. ## Deliverables This program basicly provides the framework on which people can assess two or more things against any criteria they choose. The Program would allow them to develop a list of criteria against which they will be measuring their various options. They can choose from a selection of lists to get them started. These criteria are then put in order of importance and given a weighting by the person. The person would then assess each option available and input the data into the program. The program will then calculate the score for each option. Any number of new assessments can be started and saved seperatly An assessment sheet can be printed out with a list of items to be assessed There needs to be the ability to display and store photographs for each option being assessed. Please see attached document for all the specific details 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
