I just need a script that can copy multiple DVD disks to seperate folders on a hard drive. There are 11 Disks total, and each needs to go into its own folder. The folder directory is C:\shopkey\ and each disk has a folder inside. It will need to overwrite existing data in the directories - as this will be for? a quarterly update.
This will be run under Windows XP SP2
Example:
Disk 1 gets copied to C:\shopkey\D1
Disk 2 gets copied to C:\shopkey\D2
.....
Disk 11 gets copied to C:\Shopkey\D11
I'd like it to use user input to ask when the DVD is ready to copy and to give status of what it is doing.
So basically :
1. launch script
2. script asks for disk 1
3. user hits y or whatever to verify disk is in
4. script copies data to hard drive
5. notifies user the copy is done
6. asks for next disk and repeats
i would also like some kind of fail safety and the ability to skip disks incase of interruption so that if d1 copies fine but somethign happens the disk can be skipped and go straight to d2 or whatever
