I have a program on my computer that makes it into a cash register (It’s called Quick Books Point Of Sale) and I would like to have a programmer make a program that will either e-mail, call, fax or page me when a series of unusual buttons in that program are clicked on. For example if the “OPEN CASH DRAWER?? button is clicked on, which is very unusual in my business, I would like to be notified by the program. I would also like the program to record onto the hard drive what happens on the computer screen when certain buttons in QBPOS are clicked or scanned by a bar code reader. For Example: A customer brings items to the register and when the employee scans the first item the program would start recording the transaction (Screen Shots). If the employee does not click on the “PRINT AND UPDATE?? button (Which finalizes the sale.) but instead clicks on the “OPEN CASH DRAWER?? I would like the program to notify me. If the cashier follows through with the order and finalizes it by clicking the “PRINT AND UPDATE?? button, the program should then stop recording the transaction but still retain that sale for later deletion. One way the program could notify me could be to have an error message or an instant messenger message that states that the operator should call me immediately at the following phone number provided. The message should not make them think anything is wrong. The program would also have to always start when the computer is started and should not be detectable by a computer savvy person. There are a few more details that I would like to discuss with a programmer but I would like to first get an idea what a program like this would cost. I look forward to seeing if this can be done. ## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. The program must run on Windows XP. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased as well as use on unlimited computers. 4) Screen shots stored can only be deleted by someone with a user id and password.
