DDE from Internet Explorer

I am writing an application using .Net web forms and I need to communicate with another application using DDE. My applicaion will work as a DDE Client requesting data from the other application. If you have done something like this or know how to do it without using any third party tools or dlls, please post your bid(preferably with comments).
