**Objective:**
[login to view URL] color from ColorPicker and assign hex value of color to an activeX object
[login to view URL] previously assigned color back from object, and set ColorPicker to that color.
I just want to pick a color, assign it to an object, then later read the color from the object and set a ColorPicker to the same color.
**Problem:**
1. Ignorance <g>
2. More specifically, confusion about translation between named colors, integer representations of the color, hex representations of the color, and ARGB representations (with the "extra" alpha channel, and possibly reversed notation of the hex values) is keeping me from achieving my straightforward objectives.
