Please write a script that:
* When a user comes to the Job Application Page: [[login to view URL]<wbr />page/job-email-application?j=<wbr />7.1898][1] the system should check to see if the user is logged in.
<!-- -->
* If they are logged in, the system would do nothing.
<!-- -->
* If they are not logged in, then it should check to see if they are already a member** by querying the Ning database to see if they are already registered with us.
<!-- -->
* If they are already registered with us the system should do nothing.
<!-- -->
* If they are not already registered (they are not a member) then check to see if they have left the opt-in box checked.
<!-- -->
* If they have unchecked the check box the system should do nothing.
<!-- -->
* Lastly, If they are not a member and they have left the opt-in box checked, then take the contact name, email, resume, and other fields provided by job seekers when they apply to jobs and then register the user. Register the user by mimicking what they would do at [[login to view URL]<wbr />main/authorization/signUp][2]? and the subsequent page which registers them with our site. (One of our partners is already doing this so I know that it can be done. We've asked them for details but they won't share because they use the same system for other job boards. They did say that their script just mimics what a job seeker does when registering.)
** To see if a user is a member when they are not logged in, you will have to use the full name field. That won't catch everyone as some people may register as Robert Smith but apply to a job as Bob Smith. It isn't the end of the world if someone registers twice.
You will be working with our programmer to get all of the necessary variables/fields. Also, he will be testing your script to make sure that it is functioning properly.
