Contractum is a web-based application that allows a user to manage contracts. Example of a contract could be "Dual Circuit, 15 AMP Power Supply, 24x7 or Help Desk Agent answers phone in 3 rings 24x7. Each contract has one or more notification contacts (a group in an organization); and have one or more support contacts (a group in an organization)
For a given set of contracts, they may all be independent; or they may be related to each other. Failure to meet contracts are tracked in a related record called "exceptions". Exceptions can be planned (for example the building will get no water because water mains are being repaired tomorrow) or unplanned (building got no water because water mains burst).
Contractum is used to:
1. Perform Inventory of Contracts
2. Perform risk analysis of contracts (What ? are the network effects of contract x)
3. Perform trouble shooting of failures. ? (What underlying contracts possibly caused outage)
