Basic Wordpress Plugin

I would like a custom Wordpress Plugin which allows me to present information in a post from a custom table.

The plugin will add 2 new fields to the post/page form as a select list. Category and Type , with each of these having a set of predefined options, plus an option for All categories and all types respectively.

The custom table will have the columns prod_category and prod_type (DDL for table can be supplied).

The plugin will essentially allow the presentation of the content from the custom table based on what was selected from the drop down list.

This will take the form of?

1) If none of the down lists have been selected - no extra data added.

2) If All has been selected for either drop down - all rows will be returned that meet the other criteria (allowing for when ALL and ALL are selected from both)

3) If a selection has been made from either , or both , drop down lists this will also be catered for by adding data to meet the combined conditions.

A screen needs to be added to allow the addition/editing/deletion of the data in the table via a form.

This is required as a separate standalone plugin, requiring no modification of either the theme files or Wordpress core. The output will have CSS styling, so this metadata should be added to allow this.
