A small application to repeatedly visit different pages on a specific site ...
$100-500 USD
Pagado a la entrega
I am looking for a small application to repeatedly hit the home page as well as several other pages of **_my own web site_**.
I don't obviously need a GUI - I just need an application that runs on my or some other computer, and hits **_my site_** which is Windows IIS and runs on our server at a co-location facility.
I want this application accept 1-10 very specific list of URL, which I specify in a small text file, and access these pages through the use of any public proxies you know such as:
[url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view]
The idea, which I need to satisfy is to
1. Stress test my site
2. Test my site for access from different IPs through those proxies
3. Increase access counts with the likes of [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view]
I do not know if these sites, Alexa, Compete, or even for Clickads on Google and Yahoo, count the IP or the IP:port:port etc. Think about it: If I have an organization of 1000 but one single Fixed IP, when my people access a particular site, it is hard to believe their combined access is counted as one! I would like to think that these organizations are smart enough to recognize the routers/switches in between and count each accordingly!
In any event, you understand what I need … I want to increase my numbers using the application you are going to write for me and through the use of all these proxies or whatever clever suggestions you may come up with.
As I said, it is my own site and I can lift any restrictions or any constraints we have to allow for such an application and flood the site.
Thanks,
Bahram

Good morning folks, I made a noticeable modification to the project, which will actually make it easier: I found [url removed, login to view] a site and service we can use to make the visits to my site Unique. Please make sure you a look and take it into account when bidding. Thank you for your time. Bahram Saghari

Hi there, Do you know the following: If I had one fixed IP in my company, and a router/switch setup for my 1000 employees, when my employees access a particular site, will every access count as UNIQUE or, because it is from the same IP, it will be all the same and at the end of the day count as ONE unique access? Do we know which Alexa counts? Compete? Google? Look, I want to hit my own site, directly or through the use of any of the proxies we know (e.g. [url removed, login to view], or [url removed, login to view], or others you may know) in a way that the COUNT on Alexa, or Compete, or even through google would go up! I somehow search for my site on google. Once I find the URL, I feed that URL to these proxies to go to. At the end of the day, does Google record that only one IP access it or does it record as many different IPs I could pretend I was? I need to increase that count for my website ... Thanks, Bahram

Hi there, I was getting too many of the same questions, so I figured my description may not be clear and went back and cleaned up the project description. Please take a look. Cheers, Bahram
## Platform
Preferably Windows/.Net
Other languages such Perl or PHP are perfectly acceptable.
Since this is just hitting a site, a database or any sophisticated data management does not seem to be necessary.
