CGI Script Development / Search Engine & Database

ALRIGHT -- this box is too short to do absolutely anything with so I will just type it out. Of course without a description you can't give a good bid but hey... I should make a major business decision in 2,000 letters or less. Here is what I need in short-hand... Control panel, members login area, members can modify certain fields, I need a few scripts developed that interacts with the information from these members provided in the control panel. Scripts will do SSL to pull information back, lots of script work. CGI work, database work, nothing overly complicated. If you would like to actually read what I need done in MORE then 2,000 letters then I've put a htm file in the zip file attached to this which is very clear and informative. I'm very easy to work with and always provide my programmers with lots and lots of detail (as being a programmer myself). Now.. ## Deliverables Rent A Coder requirements notice: As originally posted, this bid request does not have complete details. Should a dispute arise and this project go into arbitration "as is", the contract's vagueness might cause it to be interpreted against you, even though you were acting in good-faith. So for your protection, if you are interested in this project, please work-out and document the requirements onsite. Forgive me if the desc on here is a little shot -- use your head and make sense of it. I will answer any questions that you might have. I am looking for a programmer/designer that has a good head on their shoulder, that can solve problems without me having to illistrate exactly what needs to be done step by step, and that has a track record of excellence. This is the majority portion and we will adjust the final bid before project is completed to reflect any additional work. I hire a lot of work done and always look for new talent that works fast and likes to stay busy. 1) Final production approved by myself to be completed. 2) Script in working order on my server and instructions to install it on other systems if needed. ## Platform Written in Perl if possible. I'm not found of SQL but it might be the best choice in this case. If you could make it stable with flat-text database then that would be great and better on my end.
