I have been duped before on [url removed, login to view] so I will make very difficult and milestone based payments so please do not bid if you plan to leave halfway through.
I wish to make a amazon scraper which will go through amazons api to scrape the products and its various attributes depending on the category and country i choose. i prefer someone who is familiar with amazon and has done similar work before and the person bidding for this should look up a software called "optimal product finder" as i want to make a BETTER version of that without some of the limitations.
More clarifications will keep coming on the Q&A board so please do go through that before bidding and ask all your questions. The system should be able to give me an output in .csv format after i have run the query and it might need the query to be recursive in nature as well, which means if it does not get enough results when searching, it should use one of the result items to set up a new search to broaden the list.
It might seem to be an easy project but it might not be as I have had one program given to me by a friend which did not work as it was supposed to.
Optimal Product Finder right now works by entering the category you want to search in, then entering the sub-category, and then entering a keyword which it will search for. Then it searches through the amazon API and given a maximum result of 4000 items with their buy-urls, image-urls, list price, sale price and many other attributes. i want to be able to choose what attributes i want and save that list for repeat use. Then I want this scraper to get much more than 4000 results for me and output the things i want in a csv file.
There will be more details of what i want and everything might not be covered here so please ask for clarifications before you submit a final price.
I SINCERELY recommend having a look at the OPTIMAL PRODUCT FINDER. AND to read this description many times. I HATE it when people feign ignorance later about not having understood or having missed something i have clearly stated.
I will also make the final payment AFTER the working copy is installed on my server/laptop and gives me the required results as needed a number of times during test runs.
