We need to outsource the development of a corporate website. The design will be provided by us. The following will be needed: fron-end and backend (CMS) development in addition to QA. Below are some general requirements: General Requirements UI/UX Cross-browser compatibility. Mobile browser compatibility. Responsive UI. Development Development of website’s pages and CMS. CMS should include user roles/permissions. CMS should allow online/remote content management. Browser compatibility: Microsoft Internet Explorer (7 and later), Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari. List of technologies to be used. Technical documentation and commented source code related to the website. Website Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SSL encrypted pages for all user sign-up/sign-in navigation. The SSL certificate will be provided by the client. Language The CMS interface language will be English only. The CMS will include data entry fields for Arabic and English content. The website’s front-end public pages interface will be available in Arabic and English for now. In the future the client may request additional languages to be added in a similar way the Arabic and English options will be provided. The system design should take into consideration scalability for multiple languages for future language feature requests. Content All text and product specific and company images/pictures, along with the design brief will be provided by the client. Maintenance Maintenance services proposed include bug fixing for 1 year starting after the completion of Step 9: Website Launch. The detailed requirements are attached. Note: the client may require some changes within the coming week or so. As a start, we need an initial time and cost estimate and if changes are done, they will be provided to the developer along with the design for an accurate estimate.
