Site Name: TweetURL Requirements: Homepage with login Site shall be made with CSS and XHTML, NO TABLES. Form with text field and Submit button. On Submit the app should create a random URL extension. The random URL extension should be entered into a mySQL database. The results screen should contain the shortened URL in text form and a link using the shortened URL. The update should be accomplished without refreshing the screen, i.e. AJAX. Shortened URL will be similar to the following: [login to view URL] should resolve to the destination URL. Summary page with 10 latest TweetURLs Link to user page with the users previous TweetURLs with pagination, 10 URLs default Users should be able to 'subscribe' to other users as 'friends'. The 'friends' URLs will be shown in a different visual way than the users URLs. Registered users should be able to create custom shortened URLs on their own page. Users should have an RSS feed of their shortened URLs. Users should be able to create a profile which contains a photograph, website address, previous TweetURLs. API - The site should be able to create a TweetURL by appending a URL to an address similar to [login to view URL] and have it return the TweetURL. This functionality should be available via a Javascript bookmark type link that will create the TweetURL without actually visiting the site. This functionality should also be available for a custom Firefox Extension.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
