Consulting for Application/Web Based Database System

**Please Note:** The image above is the system we currently have used for over 2 years; it does not necessarily imply what we want the new system to look like. We are in need of a consultant which will lead us in the direction in which we should go for our new up coming project. The project is a large database (most likely larger than 300mb from the start) which would be accessed from a web browser, WAP enabled device, and a Windows application (with offline capabilities) The system will take the place of our current calendar scheduling system for various Guests of which we book on many Television and Radio stations daily. We are currently using a Custom Appointment form with the Microsoft Exchange Server; this allows us to utilize the calendar capabilities of Outlook and the sharing abilities of the Exchange Server. We are in need of a way to get the data from our current scheduling system into the new solution which we will be building. With one estimate, we have been told it would cost $10,000, however we are looking for more solid information to help us better analyze our goals and resources necessary for this project. We are not only looking for advice on which direction to go, but also which language to use for the system, the best KISS solution, connections on who we should contact for the best service and a competitive rate for this project. ## Deliverables 1) Consulting services to aid us in the completion of this project. 2) The best programming language to use with our available resources. 3) The most cost effective and KISS solution. 4) Possibly leads of where we can find a reliable and cost effective programmer. 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
